Registration and payment instructions

Registration is closed

For students from abroad and non-residents of Brno, we have booked a limited number of hotel rooms. The accommodation expenses are fully covered by the registration fee. If you require accommodation in Brno for the duration of the Summer School, please check YES in the corresponding field of the online registration form, and then proceed to the payment of the fee according to the instructions given further below. Please keep in mind that due to International Engineering Fair taking place in Brno at the same time, we are not able to guarantee you accommodation outside the reservation. 

Registration Fees and Deadlines

All fees are stated including the VAT.
Please make sure to pay your registration fee before the deadline for the respective registration type. If your payment is not received before the deadline, the latter fee will be automatically charged. Unpaid or only partially paid registration will not be considered as valid until it is fully paid.

The admission to the PETER Summer School for Brno-based participants (students of CEITEC, BUT, MUNI etc.) who do not require accommodation, is free of charge.

PETER Summer School Registration Fee Includes:

• Admission to scientific lectures, talks, and poster session
• Summer School bag incl. printed Final programme
• Evening banquet (on Thu 4.10. 2018)
• Lunches, coffee breaks
• Accommodation (double hotel rooms with breakfast) for 4 nights - 2. 10 - 6. 10. 2018

Insurance

The registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.

Confirmation

Each participant will receive an e-mail with the registration overview after filling in the Online registration form and, in case of participants requiring accommodation, completing the payment. A payment confirmation e-mail will not be sent if the due payment is not received. Without the confirmation, the registration is invalid. In case you processed the payment and haven't received a confirmation e-mail within a week afterwards, please contact us at info@peter-instruments.eu.

The final invoice (proof of payment) will be provided to the participants only upon request, it will not be sent automatically. Please contact us to ask for your receipt. The final invoice will be issued based on details provided in the Online registration form. Please make sure you fill in all the required information correctly.

Payment

Only payment by bank tranfer is accepted. The registration fee should be paid in EUR (€), free of all bank charges.

Please do not send any payments by bank transfer without the PAYMENT IDENTIFICATOR and the PARTICIPANT'S NAME included in payment details. This information is necessary to pair the payment with the participant. Without providing the information in the payment details, we might not be able to identify your payment in our account.

Cancellation / Refund Policy - Cancellation of Registration

Until 31 May 2018 - 30 EUR administrative fee will be deducted from the refund.
From 1 June 2018 until 31 August 2018 - 50% of the fee will be refunded.
From 31 August 2018 no refund can be processed.

By the registration to the Summer School, an informed consent in the following form is assumed to be given:

I agree to the collection, preservation and processing of personal data contained in this form, by the administrator, Brno University of Technology, Antonínská 548/1, Brno (or its employees) for the purpose stated below.
This consent is granted for all of the information contained in this form, and throughout the five years from the date of consent. At the same time I am aware of their rights under the directive of the EU 2016/679 on the protection of personal data.
I am familiar with all completed parts of this form, and I declare that all information are accurate and truthful and are provided voluntarily.I am aware that this consent can be withdrawn any time, by sending a written request to the data administrator, Brno University of Technology.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

In accordance with the EU directive 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, all information given on this form are collected and processed solely for purposes of processing registration and accommodation requirements for the PETER Summer School and for sending related messages to the data subject via electronic means. Summarized data from this form may be used by the administrator for internal statistical purposes and for internal use of the administrator.

Statement by Administrator

Data administrator declares that they will collect personal data to the extent necessary to accomplish the intended purpose and may be processed only in accordance with the purpose for which they were collected. Employees of the administrator or other individuals who process personal data under contract with the administrator and other persons are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of personal data, even after termination of employment or work.

Responsibility

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the event be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by force majeure, or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate programme changes. With registration, the participant accepts this proviso.
